Hi, I'm Dave Dierking

David Dierking - Healthcare Construction Project Manager

I’m a healthcare construction project manager with over 30 years specializing in the unique challenges of building in occupied medical facilities. I hold CHC (Certified Healthcare Construction) and CHFM (Certified Healthcare Facility Manager) certifications and have managed projects for Northwestern Medicine, Advocate Health Care, Ascension, Edward-Elmhurst Health, and CHI.

What sets me apart is my deep expertise in ICRA protocols and infection control—the specialized knowledge required when construction and patient care must coexist. I’ve successfully delivered everything from 325,000 SF replacement hospitals to complex OR renovations in active surgical suites.

When I’m not managing projects, I’m training for marathons—I’ve completed Chicago, Boston, Big Sur, and Marine Corps marathons. The discipline and endurance required for both pursuits are very similar.
